Been Lurking on this board for awhile, Finally Decided to make my first post with some pics on my 73 750 that I picked up from a buddy of mine. We did some trade work I had some VW Crap he wanted and he had this beauty. I would be really interested if you guys could help identify the fork this bike has on it. I would really like to go back to a spoked front wheel. I want more of a cafe look so I am ditching the straight pipes and going to fab up a 4 into one header probably from stainless. a buddy of mine does paint and body so he will handle the color when it comes to that as well as remaking the rear tail section. also going to go to a small battery like one that is mentioned else where on here and also make a new oil tank from some Alum.
Well here it is she rung pretty damn good and has plenty of power but I need to take care of the oil leaks electrical I have one carb that leaks if you dont sht off the fuel off. I am going to completly strip the bike and rebuild it. I have always liked my bike to be reliable and to know that it is all done right so I have peace of mind while I am riding
The other bike is a 81 honda CM400E that is a buddys bike that is being built into a cafe/bobber/whatever the heck it ends up being little commuter bike

The front wheel looks like the wheel from a 88 Honda 600 Hurricane. Maybe the forks too. Are there schrader (sp)values in the top of the fork? I think the 88 had them.

Yes the fork has the valves on the top looks like you can air them up?? I really want a matching front wheel what would be the easiest way to go about that? I do like the feel the twin large disc brakes provide for stopping power but that front wheel is killing me with the look it has, I removed the front fender and that helped alot, but still mis match wheels kill me

Well Today I sourced a front fork and wheel off of a cb750 that is a 1978 vintage it also has dual discs and a set of clubman bars. I am going to rebuild that front end and stick it on my bike and give him the left overs. I will post pics as soon as I get the parts home
