Do you have an HD TV? Can you get DiscoveryHD? If not, find a pal that can, get a six pack, go to your pals house and tune this in for an awesome high speed run around the track:

speaking of that I have a question
is it run in sections and times added up or is it one full lap or an average of a few laps .   I get confused easy.
I go to the iomtt website but the layout doesn't seem real clear ...like whats up with the timer on there ? is that count down to next year?

Sam I'm gonna get a bike and have it sent to your house,ok?
If its your first time racing you have your own class right?

looks like Ian Hutchingson is a pretty fast bloke? Dunlop looks like one tough kid, given some time he looks like he's going for it.

its really a time trial , you start in pairs at 10 second intervals , race for 4 laps and the shortest time wins .
there is no beginners race at the tt , that is at the manx gp  [ held on the tt course in the first week in september ] once you have won a manx you cannot do it again . [ the exception being the classic and post classic manx ]  dunlop won the post classic manx this week on an xr69 suzuki , he would probably go faster if he laid off the pies .

Never stopped David Jefferies Simon  ;)
I reckon that a good pie strategy could actually be beneficial for the IOM. Better weight to keep you flying off the bumps  :D

is it me or is the Dunlop fellar hard to understand, I had to go back 2 times to understand him, I mummble lots but I think he does so with a thick (irish?) accent. Thats one kid I wouldn't want to fist fight.

I looked over the records section but again I do not find it to be very clear about things...
like how many CB750 classes are there?

736
750
750 bob jackson honda

then it just goes on and on
ya I get the times but so much detail is just not there or over looked
It happens to me with the BUB speed times too! Hard to sort out details.

all the Dunlop's are [ where ] hard to understand ! [ its an ulster accent not irish ]

i had a look at the 750 hondas in that list and i doubt very many are sohc . in the days when a sohc honda was competitive the tt classes where all for proper racing bikes , meaning the honda would have to race against tz750s etc . in the latter years 1978 1979 [ when there was a four stroke class ]the hondas raced where rcb 1000s

the true pinnacle of road racing

I'm so jealous we have nothing near that cool over here, I'm saving to go see it next year.

The safty police and the lawyers would shut us down. Besides it's a true living history.

i like the idea of living history, its the dead people that worry me . four more this year and some terrible injuries , they dont show that side of it on the telly

I knew you were there SamCB750A. I didn't see you, but I'm green with envy.

TV producers will pick and choose what to show

obviously we are all thinking about those that past this year and pass years
they live on through the event in peoples minds and souls

No no no, you won't ever see me on a bike round there.
I've lost count of how many times I've been and I have even sponsored/entered riders but you won't ever find anything of me riding, you need very big balls to ride in the TT.
