BWJ Awesome looking bike, man. I hope you got a nice warm and dry place to work. My basement has some water in it today so no fiddling.

Looks phenomenal and makes me think my project will take another year.   :-\

What wheels are those and can I have them? :P

Thanks! The wheels are stock Comstars off the 77-78 CB750F model. Some people hate them but I think they look killer all blacked out.

"Mango Tango" orange with a black stripe. Check a page or two back in my thread here and you will see a picture of a Dodge Viper I posted with this color.

Not ready for paint yet. I am still waiting for my tail section to arrive. I also plan on getting the motor parts bought and installed before I start the painting project. Yes those are the F model.

Are you gonna put the emblems back on the tank? Did the previous owner of the rims tell you how much it cost to get them powder coated? I'm still up in the air to either paint them or clean them up real good. Everything is looking real good. Only thing new on my bike is the chain, and the tires. I've got a long way to go.

I am not going to install the original emblems. The badge dents will get smoothed out and I am going to install some CBR badges. I got the wheels from my buddy Tige "tweakin", he will be along here soon and he can tell you the cost of the powdercoating cuz I am not sure. Thanks for the props!

Competiton Werkes! They are for a 2003 Yamaha FZ1. They fit nearly perfect just had to file a small bit of the bottom and walla!

Came up with this idea for mounting my cowl to my frame. I wanted to be able to have my seat upholstered like tweakin's so I needed a way to install and remove the seat without messing around with the upholstered portion as its riveted permanantly to the fiberglass cowl.

Using the rear battery box mount, I drilled through and will use a carriage bolt to secure the front

No nut installed but you get the idea...

Made this adjustable bracket for the rear portion of the cowl. I still need to figure out a way to attach it to the cowl.
