Aluminum wheels
« on: March 07, 2006, 06:56:38 AM »
Got a question about 750A aluminum wheels. Are they strong enough for a 750K? I was thinking they may not be as strong sense the A is probelly not putting the torque to the wheel as hard.I am thing of a set for a Cafe. Thanks

I read somewhere (Hondaman?) that the A actually put more torque on the road (measured on a dyno) than a standard 750.

If you mean the Comstars - no problems.

The spoked wheels came from Gold Wings, so they should be strong.   I push mine pretty good with my fat (275#) a$$ on it, so they must be fairly tough.
