Touch-up paint
« on: October 20, 2010, 01:38:57 PM »
Who knows, who's got, touch-up paint for '73 CB750/4 K3; the tickle-pickle Orange Flake? I wanna just try doing the scratches and scrapes on the tank, and rubbing it out/in.

You could call around and find an auto store that does paint matching, take in a side panel and have their computer make up a match.
Paint that's 36 years old might likely have faded and at least you'll have a match to what your paint looks like now. Most places can mix up something for an aerosol can or jar for brush applications.
This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

definitely try www.touchuppaintonline.com.  I have gotten paint from them for my 79 Alfa Romeo and the match was pretty good (my paint is also in good shape.)
