Love it here, been on 22 hours.....not all at once lol... I have a 71 CB500, but I've put in an 04 Honda TRX 400 engine (quad). It does the ton, with a solid rear (struts)and the rear sprocket from the quad welded to the cb 500 sprocket. Anyways I just noticed this forum section, thought I would say hello ..
Cheers, Brent

no, it looks like the pic with the expanded stainless side covers, except the tank is black with a gold lace design. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow in the snow lol

Hey thanks for linking that pick  Steve-o!   It's a fun little bike that I built with my 2 sons last year, I've put about 1000 miles on it , the only problem has been that I don't have a title so the 1000 miles have been back roads at night lol. It really roosts the dirt with that thumper engine.

That tank looks great!

Here is his bike:

$200 is a good deal, although it is not a SOHC.

You've had that much snow already?

We just got a lot of snow dumped on us here! I swore I'd ride my bike until the snow came...it's now officially parked  ;D

Anyway, I might be interested in that bike...where in the Province are you??

Yeah the original is one of my all time fave car movies, that one and the chase scene from Bullit with the  brand new 68 Charger R/T. I have a 440 Dart so I'm kinda partial to the Mopar!
I live in St Vital and I'm usually home. I'm recovering from a broken femur so I don't stray to far. Oh yeah I've got the whole front brake system for the bike too minus the pads.

Dude...I have a feeling we'd get along all too well...Bullitt and VP are like my two favourite movies...as I am also a mopar nut. Prior to my bikes, my dad and I spent a lot of time working on the car attached...I love everything Mopar! Post a pic of your Dart!

Anyway, I've been trying figure out a place to store your bike if I buy it, and I'm at a loss...I've got three bikes in my single car garage right now, so I'm a little over loaded! I'd love to have that thing though!

Sure, here is a pic of my Dart. It's got a 69 440 with a windage tray, MP purpleshaft .445" cam and springs, Edelbrock 750 carb, Heavy truck loadflite trans (4 pinion planetaries) and 3.55 gears. It's been a long haul, I've had it for over ten years now. I bought it in Richmond BC in 2001, it came up from Washington state. The p.o. did the disc brake swap, I switched out the 273 for the 440. That really turned it into a monster lol.
Anyways about the bike...it's ok where it is probably until mid January. Get back to me if you are interested in it, it will probably still be here

NICE car!! I love the '67 darts....pretty stealth/sinister looking with the steelies and dog dishes up front too!

I realized I forgot to actually attach the picture of my car...here it is.

'65 Plymouth Sport Fury (big car!) with a 318 poly....not fast by any means, but makes a great cruiser, and gets good mileage to boot!

I'm going to see what I can do about finding some storage...if not, I might know of someone else that might be interested!

Wow! Your Sport Fury looks great! Beautiful car.  My Friend Reg had a convertible '65 in high school, not nearly as nice as yours though. My 440 came out of a '69 300. I sure felt bad parting that car out, but we were moving across the country and I had to pick one of them!  Sure was interesting trying to park that thing in Vancouver. Surprized more than a few BMW and Mercedes sedans on the freeway too ha ha ha!! here's a pic. I'll pm you my phone number in case you want to come check out the little bike.

Holy crap! That car looks clean!! I'm a sucker for the big mopars...was it worse than it looks in that pic? That is about as rust free as I've ever seen...

I can only imagine you surprising a few people with that car...they really haul...especially when you get onto the highway with 2.76 or 2.93 gears  ;D

Steve-0 my bike really is an SOHC, it's just missing a few cylinders

My step dad had a '72 CB 750 in orange, man that bike sounded good when I was 10 (30 years ago) I'd love to get one of those, especially with the price of fuel lately . Between that and insurance and aircare and safety inspections and what have you the old musclecars have turned into an expensive hobby, not like when we were in our 20's when we drove 'em to work everyday, and raced for $20 or $50 or $100 bux for grins on saturday night after we changed the cam out, or the gears ,or the sandbags lol.
