A dump question
« on: March 19, 2006, 12:48:56 PM »
Ok, here is the result: one of the wife's 3 cats took a dump in my parts box under the computer, in my "computer room".

This could be one of them getting back at me for playing war games with them. I had a foam-ball air gun and they had their wits and skills at hiding.

Should I elimiate the foam balls? Throw the cats outside? What?

PS. Wife says it is all my fault!

Dear Abby, said I was a discusted, nasty motorcycle rideing  pervert.

What should I do?

Before answering we need to know the severity of the situation.  Were any part corroded by the cat urine?

put a litter box by the door ;D

We have 6 cats, one dog, a rabbit, and two kids.  The cats like the sawdust in my workshop, the dog likes the back yard, the rabbit likes the little box, and the kids have finally been house trained, (thank God, no more dipers).  Now to get my bike back together and make sure it's house trained too, don't want it pissing on the floor. ;D

OK, I;ll have to admit the door to the catbox was Maybe closed. But still....
The dog is outnumbered 3to1.
Have already "lost" 3 cats in 3 years to predators (coyotes, fisher cats, large earth worms, etc etc) but the
little woman keeps getting more to replace them.
Could it be she feels sorry for the wild predators?
peace,
michel

Bob- dogs won't do anything to a cat in the house.  You obviously have never had the combination.  Anyone who has knows what kitty candy is.

Put a couple of mouse traps in the box, this serves as entertainment in two ways, the first  is when you trap a cat with one and the other is when you forget they are in the box and you go reaching in and SNAP!!!!!
When I was teenager my folks had a prize winning Yard, a band of ferrel cats would regularly crap in the beds they especially liked crapping in the broccoli and cauliflower.  After trapping most of them in live traps the surliest and trap wizened were left free and continued to crap in the broccoli.
Someone came up with the idea of putting mouse traps around the beds, did so and found traps all the way across the yard one morning, those traps scare the crap out of cats.
After the cats were gone we still had moose walking in the yard and eating all the broccoli.
I farted and made my son cry.

Update: It is now snowing on the parts outside. Most of the "stuff" should be solid by morning. And most of the mc parts were in plastic bags. The box will be heaved into the woodstove.

Can you tell I am bored at home sick?

Cats are at or near the bottom of the food chain as far as I can tell.  Screw Dear Abby AND the cats.

Sorry I just hate cats. I guess it comes from the day one ate my canary. I still wonder how he managed to catch him through the cage bars..

Try to convince your best half to get rid of them. In case you can't, get another wife.

I know I'm opening a can of worms with this, but in Spain, men who own cats are considered effeminate. There is no scientifical evidence of this, but I can tell you that all the men I've known who owned cats were effeminate to my eye.

Thanks God this is the open forum...  ;D

Raul

P.S. I devised a revenge against that cat. I managed to catch it the next night, but I decided to let it go -instead of burning it alive as it was my first intention- because, at the end, it was just following its instinct. Sorry I don't know wether animals should be referred to as "it" or "he", but I hate them so much I will not treat them like a person...

Weelll, the wife used to slap the side of my helmet everytime I drove over 85mph.....
now she doesn't ride on the back anymore. So I get your point.

I should use  the real shotgun, not the foam pellets.
thanks,
