Does my cb175 have valve stems?
« on: December 21, 2010, 06:38:12 AM »
I don't remember taking any off when I disassembled the head and I don't see any in my gasket kit. My machinist told me he needed them, but I'm hoping he just said so because he assumed there should be some.  ???

Do you mean seals?
Try to dig up an online parts diagram, and see if they exist..

Damnit, I meant to say seals... :D

Would these be included in one of those oil seal kits on ebay? As I said, I don't see anything in my top end gasket kit...

:D  You read my mind!  I ended up trading that bike for a ratty 750.  I did get it running though and didn't see any smoke.  It made a rapping noise though but I'm sure it had nothing to do with a stem seal.  I think I still have those seals somewhere in my garage...
