Oh! how many times have yo managed to some how to knock off your side cover badge!!! :o
I have been trying to locate some of these elusive little washers that hold teh thing inplace.
I contacted one of my Vietnam Vets in SFS and he has managed to locate some also a pair of Tank Badge locators! Total cost by the time I managed to get teh postal order and mail/post the lot to USA A$45.15 Mucho Dollaries!
I was being shepared to a Craft shop today with the "boss" and I nearly dropped dead, right infront of me is a small packet of plastic rivets (12) and 12 retaining washers.
Exactly the same as Honda washers (@ US$4.00 each.) but right infront of my eyes at A$1.78 a bag!!!!! US$1.30.
The plastic rivets or nail look a likes will glue perfectly to my pinless badge, and, the washers will be unnoticeable to any one but a Honda fan!!

Bloody amazing.

Proper size tinnerman nut for a sheet metal screw works great too. ;D

I have reattached the badges with a little sheet metal screw after the tab broke off. Just drilled a little starter hole in the back were the tab was. Put it on the cover and put the screw in with the head on the back side.

Seemed sturdier than glue.

I hate it when my badges fall off!!!!!

Just yesterday I went to my Honda Dealer to get these for my 71 500/4. They wanted $2 ea. They are a 3mm spring clip or "speed nuts". I went to Autozone and they had the EXACT same thing called "speed nuts" by DOORMAN. the #6's work with a touch of bending, if you can find the 3mm size they are OEM.
