CB750 Super Sport wheels
« on: January 20, 2011, 07:43:16 PM »
I have been toying with the idea of buying a set of used Super Sport mags off of Ebay- I like
the looks and decreased maintainence that they offer. The only thing hanging me up on them is
this: there are those little black ?things? where the spokes meet the rim. Are these made of rubber?
Can they be removed? If I buy a set of these wheels, I want to powdercoat them. I'm assuming that
these are covering the rivets and the wheels will look worse without them...

The black plasticy things are just covers for where the spokes meet the rim.

Awesome! Thanks for the pic! I looked at so many different wheels on Ebay & such and
just couldn't figure out if those things were "permanent" or what. That looks good coated.
I just got my tank powdercoated a candy copper metallic, and been really thinking that a
set of matching mags would be quite slick....
