Im in Macon, GA.  I am new to motorcycle thing.  I dont even have a motorcycle liscense yet.  But I do know I want an old CB and I do want my liscense.  If there is anyone in the area it would be nice to meet up and see your ride.  I have fallen in love with these old CBs.

I'm also in L5P. You can check out my 1976 Honda CB550 if you wish.

Do any of you know where I can find a good motorcycle graveyard/salvage yard around Atlanta? I've been trying to reach CITY CYCLE GRAVEYARD - 1245 Glenwood Avenue S.E. - Atlanta, GA 30316 Phone: 404 627-2433 but no one answers the phone.

Anyone is Savannah?  I'm heading to Myrtle Beach this Saturday, and will spend the night in Savannah, cruising for grave yards or other interesting sights.

Cycle city has been gone for ages. Ride down to East Atlanta and see for yourself. it's a froo froo restaurant now.

Would have responded sooner but this forum software doesn't always tell me when there's been a reply.

You probably see me riding the Red FT500 with the black box on it's tail.

I too am in georgia. I live in savannah, my office is in alpharetta, and when working in the office i stay in L5P. Just met 2 guys with a 73 cb750 and a 69 cb350. Both cafe'd out. pretty neat. I have never met anyone else who enjoy and ride the old hondas as much and as long as I have in Savannah. I'll be in town next week so send me a PM if you want to meet up and ride. Also, just found out about an all vintage bike shop called British in the City on memorial dr off moreland by i-20 and they meet every thursday at 7 and ride to some Taco place. it's a bsa norton triumph shop but he does work on old hondas and old cb's show up on thursdays.. i'll be going next week. Give me a shout

p.s. gotta friend who opened up a bike and hot rod resort in ducktown tennessee(http://ridersresort.net/). beautiful ride there through wolf pen gap. he's also about 1 hr 15 min from the dragon (deal's gap), which is hands down the coolest ride i've been on yet. me and bike in killer turn on this link http://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/ThumbPage.aspx?e=4106708&g=06&s=275. be sure ad stay in touch. there's not alot of us in georgia but I'd like to plan a meet before it gets ridiculous cold in north georgia!

Hey Ian, still in Jefferson?  Somehow I missed it when you posted.  I ride that way all the time to get to I-85.  Give me a shout next time you're headed into Athens.  The guys at the Ducati shop go for an hour ride on Thursdays, then end up at a bar downtown.

Javier, I've been wanting to go up to Deal's Gap.  Let me know when you're thinking as far as a ride.  We should have a few more warm spells before December.

Moved to Savannah almost a year ago from Denver.  Lost all my riding buddies.  Have a '76 CB750F that I just haven't been riding lately.  I'd be interested in a good ride.  Miss the mountain rides.  Flat straight roads just aren't as exciting.  Can't beat the weather in the winter though.

Hey guys,

I live in downtown Macon.  Just got a 72 CB350F, and Im gonna be trying to get it up and running in the next couple weeks/months.  Its my first bike and, of course, my first project.  Im excited about learning more and can't wait to get on the road with it.

I know that this site is going to help me tremendously and Im glad to be a member.

EDIT:
I now live in Tampa FL, but I still consider Macon my "homebase"
