progress on bike thus far (link to vid)
« on: March 26, 2006, 05:57:16 PM »
here's how far my bike has come in the past few weeks. I wouldn't really call it a basketcase, but it was in a few pieces.
at the beginning of the vid you'll see me ride by once it was all put together, but stock.
since then I have re-wired, cut the rear fender, new shocks, painted tank and covers, new tail-light, and I'm working on the new exhaust
I think thats about it

oh yeah, the seat is at the upholstrey shop, not on the bike

I'll try and do some capture some stills from the video, I only have a camcorder, but I haven't bought the memory stick yet to take pics with it

BTW, with my crappy(read:stolen wireless) at home, it took about twenty minutes to upload, and it wasn't even 2MB

thanks guys!

so, could I just go to an exhaust shop and tell them where I want my muffler to sit and they will make an intermediary pipe to go between the header and muffler? I like the looks of it way down low, but its not practical to have it there. I've already scraped it once turning right from a stop sign

if you make  the mount for the muffler, and mount it , it should be a POP for the muffler shop to make a connecting pipe.... shouldnt really cost that much either.... good luck...peace
