Topic: Front Fork Damper Valve

was wondering if anyone has any experence with using these fork valve kits:

I have used Race Tech valves on other bikes and they definitly helped . Was wondering if these are similar to race tech valves (there 1/2 the price) also want to know if anyone has changed the springs also in there forks and if so did thay see a big diffrence.

there are a few threads here about the cartridge inserts.
MikesXS has them for $50.
i have them but never installed them

you can get the same affect from using fork dampeners from a 750 .. they are a lil longer then the 550   

i've done it , that combined with springs from progressive.. i am very happy with my front suspension ..it's no modern bike , but it's a definite improvement over stock
