Replacing master cylinder, interchange fitment for cb350f?

Ok, so I need to replace the master cylinder on my 1974 cb350f, the reservoir is cracked. Problem is I can’t find an exact model replacement so... What other years and models used the same one so that I can just bolt, bleed and go? I found a '71 cb500 on eBay (not that I really want one off eBay but...) but I have no idea if it will work.

Other models will work probably the ones with single disc brakes would be the best choice, even other brands of bikes  but the lever nay be in an odd position when you mount it.

For what its worth, I'm replacing my 550 master cylindar with a 97' ZX7R master.  7/8" bar also.  Should provide much better lever feel and when/if I upgrade to dual brakes it will work fine.  I like the remote resovior too, give more mounting options for not so straight bars.

My 550 master is shot, and I got the ZX7 on Ebay for 15 bucks.

Is it the cast aluminium type with the short  round resevoir and cast in mirror mount? If so it was used from about 1971( or 72?) until at least 1977 on all single disc front brakes (except the 750) I think in 1978 they changed to a white plastic resevoir on some models ( before they went 'square') Almost all are faded fromthe original black to a silvery grey colour by now. All were for 7/8" bars

Even the 750 cylinder is the same part basically any Honda single disc from the early 70's--dont forget the 360 and the 500 twin, parts for those seem to sell cheaper

little tricky to get past ther wireing for the kill switch becuse its uses a one peace clamp ratherthen a 2 peace cap you can take off and polished up kinda nice after takeing the black powdercoat off.
