022A Carb Float Bowl O-Ring Spec?
« on: March 15, 2011, 11:37:11 AM »
Does anybody know it?  The usual places don't seem to sell just the o-ring and I can't find the spec to get one from a supplier.  Any help is appreciated.

If you're referring to the fiber washer that goes between the seat and the carb body,
then I direct you to this>  http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?keyword=fiber+washer&langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053

I used a unibit step drill to open it up just a little so the seat fit thru it, and that was a substantial savings over buying the fiber washers from some 'vintage vulture'.

if you're talking about the rubber gasket that seals the bowl to the carb, then I don't really understand your question.

Unfortunately, no.  The large o-ring that goes between the main bod of the carb and the float bowl.  It fits into a channel on the float bowl.

you're looking for replacements? Or hoping there's some generic fix?

Why not cut one yourself? In the slot you can put a bit of fuelresistent fluid gasket

Did you try Feebay? I've seen just the bowl o-rings there before. Like $17 for four of them delivered.
