Relay/Rally Patches - HAVE BEEN SHIPPED - COMBINED THREADS
« on: March 21, 2011, 11:02:41 AM »
Hey folks!  In the process of pricing out patches for the World Tour Relay and Rally.

THE PHOTO BELOW SHOWS THE FINAL DESIGN, COMPLETE WITH CORRECT HONDA FONT, AND THE SIZE THAT WILL BE PRODUCED.

IT LOOKS AS IF THEY WILL BE ABOUT $8/each.  This is being run non-profit, so if I can get it for cheaper, the savings will be reflected in the final price. It looks as if we were able to work into the price, a free patch for all the coordinators who have spent so much time on this awesome project/event.

We will do paypal to my account (as long as I don't have trouble with this many payments!), and I will front the cash to the embroidery place. I'll send them in a regular envelope, and the stamps are on me!

So, to clarify:
1. Who wants patches?
2. How many patches at $8/each

Thanks,

Scott

Looks good. I prefer that one. Simpler design for a patch.

I know the issue of which bike to include will surely come up but guys, PLEASE DON'T GO THERE. These are the 2 choices you have to pick from.  ;D

I worried about that too :)  But I think the folks who did the original design did a great job having it be fairly vague - especially for small patch.

I'd be in for 1 regardless of which design but I do lean toward the simple design just slightly since I already have the other on a shirt.

the simpler design looks good to me.  Are there volumn purchase discounts for 10 or more?  ;D

I'm in for at least one of either type.  I prefer the one with the green.  Anything under $10.

Old school,

I'm not setting this up as a "business," I just wanted a patch! :). If you wanted that many, it could help push us into a lower cost bracket - but we are still a ways away from that.

I hoped that we could all order enough to make it possible to send one to Jerry and each of our merry coordinators, free of charge. Really depends on the total number ordered though.

Most places I contacted flips prices at increments of 50 - and I only priced out for 50. So we would need about 100 requests to get to that next price drop.

How about keeping the original font (without the wing), it's the actual Honda font and is a little slicker..  I think the rear fender and tire is kind of funky too.  Other than that it looks good.

I know it must be hard to edit the vector images, with all the weird curves and stuff!

About payment, will PayPal work? Oh, there will be postage to Aus on top of course.

Keep up the good work.  ;)
