E-bay seller to look for!!!
« on: April 07, 2006, 12:52:31 PM »
WOW, I just had a great experience with a seller on e-bay and thouhgt I should get a word out for them. jalibi is the sellers name on E-bay and they had ust the part I needed! Well, I bid and won and wouldn't you know it my van broke down and couldn't pay until today. jalibi was so cool about the whole thing!!! ANyone else out there who needs parts, look up the name in E-bay, They have tons of CB parts to sell and at great deals. I purchased a terrific stator assembly for only 15 bucks!!! Usually they give a 1 to 10 rating on each item to give you an idea of the condition as well.

P.S., Thanks a million Bob

I haven't bought anything from him yet. I have asked questions and got pretty quick and
courteous responses. I've always been beat out of the items, so far.

I can tell you that, so far, i haven't had a problem with a seller. I have had very pleasant
encounters with endlessdollars (Tim), amxdude and tweelz. The others were nice and all but
these 3 have gone out of their way to help me.   Later on, Bill

He's got to work on his item descriptions a little harder though, everything's "CB750 chopper..." or whatever.  Kinda tough to search.

I bought a seat from him, he wanted way too much to send it to me and "over-estimated" the shipping weight, (by almost 100%) so eventually I had to get him to send it to Tom (ElCheapo) who then sent it to me. It's a great seat and I've left him positive feedback, but the whole experience wasn't as good as it could have been. Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Well, there is a bit of logic to the titles, you have to look at each one and once you see what each one is you think, Hey, I could use that!

Yeah, some of the sellers don't really know much about what they are selling. But some are
putting that wording into get you to look. I was looking at some Jawa parts once and spotted a
listing that was a BSA part. I emailed the seller and his response was "I know but, I did it that way
because I figured that I would get more lookers that way and have a better chance of selling it"
So, there it is, Strategy.       Later on, Bill

Ebay frowns on it, I was selling some Koni shocks and included other shock brand names in my listing, and some dickhead (here in Oz) complained, because he sent me a smart-ass email, and I returned the favor?

The worst thing with Ebay when you've got a gripe, is that you never communicate with the same person twice, and NONE of them know what they're talking about when it comes to bike stuff, so we ended up agreeing to disagree. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Ebay frowns on it,

Here in UK they've started deleting listings that say "Not CBR GSX..." - I've watched a few bikes that have had their listings terminated for no apparent reason, only to see them relisted with the seller saying "eBay didn't like my listing"

Yeah Steve, awhile back, I was looking to pick up on a pair of SL350 fenders and next thing I know, They've been pulled (Not sold, some sort of problem). Never saw them again. It was a Buy It Now and I should have. (I guess)       Later on, Bill
