Fuel tanks!
« on: March 30, 2011, 12:38:36 AM »
I'm building up a little 1971 Kawasaki KV100 while my cb550 is slowly slowly coming together.

i plan on sort of turning it into a cafe style bike.

I want a longer tank for it, but one thats not too tall/high. and I want to have a shot at wacking knee dents into it :)

What sort of bikes do you think would have a good tank that i can scrounge wreckers for?

i would just try and find any old tank to practice on first makes it alot easyer for once you find a good tank to bang on... take your time and work on a small area

maybe try something like a suzuki gs tank  kawi tank..people get pissed off when u go banging on good honda cb tanks lol ;)
