I have a 75 cb550 and I cant find any casting #s or stamp #s on any of the carb bodys! Has anybody run in to this before? I want to rebuild them but dont know what to order.

Each carb body mount flange has the set up number on the mount flange Top right.
022a, or 069a (US 1975 models)

FOUND IT! CAN JUST SEE THEM UNDER THE GRIM, THANK YOU. THERE ALSO SEEMS TO BE A SMALL LETTER "B" ON AN ANGLE BESIDE THE A?? ANY IDEAS??

Each carb body has a stamping.  Among the four, you should be able to figure it out.  You may have to clean the area first.
The only B version I am aware of was 627B, which are actually CB500 carbs.  They were stamped at the factory to identify the internal parts installed.  If you have 627B carbs on a 550, there is no telling what the installee put inside the carbs without checking them visually or measuring them.

YA THESE HAVE 069A ON THEM BUT THERE IS A SMALL "B" ABOUT 1/3 THE SIZE OF 069A ON AN ANGLE OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE A :o

Yeah that's just one part of it.  No parts interchange between the two carb styles. Inlet and outlet couplers are different.  There is a bar mounted choke for the 46A, throttle cables different, intake manifolds different, etc.

069A carbs were original equipment for the F model four into one exhaust CB550.  #98 Mains.
