well I may just have to bring the head when I come down to visit...  :D

It's the same process as what you did on the gold bike, right?

This is going to be a mouth full... so bare with me...

My plan was to get the engine and frame squared away over my up coming  Christmas break. So I'm trying to get most of the parts ordered now so I don't wast half my break waiting for parts to arrive, but I have some issues...

I was told the cb750supply.com was a great source for after market oem-ish stuff.. but I've run into a few bugs I guess...

On The Topic of the Engine

I'm going to re-ring and re-seat the valves... ok so if you look at my pistons the have 2 rings and an oil ring...

cool... but if you look at the image on the web sight it appears they have 4 rings? I now have figured out that the 2 smaller rings are part of the oil ring...

so if some one could possibly shed some light on that it would be great

On the Topic of the Swing Arm

My bike is a '71 so it should have bushings w/o the lip according to parts diagrams and cb750supply but with the older bikes there apears to be like plastic spacers/washers that are in place of where the 'lip' of the bushing would going if it were an newer bike... so wondering if anyone has used a newer style bushing to eliminate the spacer/washer things...
