Port Townsend...Really?

I was jus trying to make it so nobody travels 2x or 3x farther than anybody else. If some people are coming up from Portland I think having it at the Roanoak Tavern would be best.

I'd say ditto on the Roanoke as well. Just cause it's close to me. I like the idea of the seattle vacinity riders getting together at a Backfire Moto night. I've never been to one an am looking forward to meeting some riders.

With all this banter on rides maybe we should start a PNW thread but seperate from "The Tour"?  Sounds like enough interest to do other rides throughout the summer. I'd look for an excuse to ride to Port Townsend or Chuckanut or Rimrock lake HWY12 area. Just not all in the same weekend.

Funny my dad lived in Toppenish and Union Gap for 25 years. He grew up in Coulee City. He never did like it over here on the wet side. How he and my mother ever met and started a family is beyond me.

Hey you angry monkey!!! be on the lookout for rainyrider (Donovan) at backfire moto next week. he mentioned he's planning on riding out.  he's got a navy 550 with a black leather solo seat w/ white piping, and he'll probably be with another orange 550K and a suzuki.  wish i could make it but i gotta work late.  >:(

IDK if i mentioned it before, but there's a building named after my grandfather in Coulee City  :)

Is that the Flybox County Courthouse? :)

I'll keep a look out for anybody on another 550. We tend to stick together and are sometimes pretty cool. I'll make it if I get my bike back from the shop. Still haven't got a call yet. Tomorrow is supposed to the be the nicest day of the year so far and I want to ride.

I can do anytime in June but the 4th assuming no big problems arise getting my bike on the road.  I don't have a preference as to the meeting place.

"Cross town traffic! So hard to get "IT" through to you!"

I hope everyone got out on Saturday it was an awesome day for a ride. Unfortunately this wednesday is supposed to be pretty bad weather for Backfire Moto's opener. I was hoping to meet at least a couple of PNW members. Maybe next month.

I've got at least one Portland member showing so it's looking like the Roanoke might be the place.
When I get home tomorrow if the weather is exactly like it is today at this time I'm going to Backfire.

Anybody make it to Backfire Moto? Talk about crappy timing on the weather. the only thing we didn't get was a tornado! I backed out and just decided to tinker in my nice dry gagrage for a couple of hours instead. Maybe next month!

If it was, it wasn't mine at the time.  :D I sold mine a few years ago to Twinline when I was having my 400/4 built.

Jimi Hendrix grave? Srsly? What about Bruce Lee's grave? Beware, We had so much fun on California legs, we may just assimilate y'all for the PNW leg. Cretins and VME look out! I think I can bribe Jody and them cats to reschedule the Isle of Vashon to coincide. True story, just don't tell my mama- she lives on Vashon.
