Hi,

Just recently jumped on the SOHC-4 wagon with a '75 750F.  Most of my experience has been with twins.  Currently live in Grant Park in Atlanta, GA.

Just combing the forum and saw that they have "Team" regions now. I think my profile says Atlanta but i'm actually outside of the city in the west cobb area. Maybe if we get enough people we could do a SOHC georgia ride sometime.

Hey y'all! I haven't officially started riding yet but I bought an '80 cb 650 custom this spring and I have been fixing it up.  I have ridden my friend's '78 honda hawk 400 automatic though.  I did put about 4 miles on my bike but the engine was running rough and I figured I would tune it up a bit before riding it again.  I hail from west Georgia.

New here as well.  Had my '71 CB750 for six years or so.  It is all original and in good shape.  Had it running after a carb rebuild, new battery, changed oil and new plugs.  Then I moved and it sat again.  I am now getting it back to running shape.  Looking forward to doing a complete restoration over time.  I am out on the NE side of Atlanta.

Augusta here. Still working on both of the CBs.........and as my quote reads, I ride everyday, if it ain't raining.

Once I get one or the other of the CBs running correctly, I will be riding them.
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Hey guys. I'm new here as well. I've been riding for a few years (Harley VROD) and not too long ago picked up a 79 CB650 and a 78 CM400A. I also have a line on a 78 CB750 that I'm trying to get my hands on. The 650 will be the first on the chopping block since its the nicest of them all. I have big plans for her and I'll start a build thread as soon as I gather my parts. I'm in SW GA, Americus to be exact. We have several old Honda bikes around. I bobbed a couple out for a friend and a customer and thats what got me interested in them. This forum is great for information and for spending more money lol.

Hi Georgia SOHC riders....  My name is Mac and I live in Acworth, Ga.  For the past four years, my main ride has been a 1977 CB550.  A couple of weeks ago, I traded one of my bikes (72 Triumph Daytona 500cc) for a 1976 Honda CB750 with 13,100 miles on it and boy do I like this bike.  Hope to meet up with some of you soon.

Hey Rawnog, we took 278 all the way to Augusta, it's a great ride that will take you through cool little towns and you'll have stretches of the road to yourself where you can open up that throttle if you choose to. the best part is there is very little traffic since most of the nuts are on I-20. Enjoy that ride. I'll let you know when our next ride is, soon probably. Vern

Hey guys. I will probably be home from Afghan sometime in late October. If any of you decide to get together to ride let me know. I don't have my Honda operational yet but I can ride my V-Rod. It would be great to meet some of you guys and check out your bikes. Let me know.
