Newbie - Allen bolt replacement question
«

I have an Allen bolt set for my 73 750K3. Could I replace one bolt at a time on the cylinder head? And if so, would I replace in order of sequence or what?
Any suggestions for a guy who is making a maiden voyage in mechanics?

I replaced mine one at a time using the sequence in the Workshop Manual. Torqued as I went. Have not started engine yet.

Thanks...
trying my first-ever cylinder head tightening, cam chain adjustment, valve clearance adjustment, and ignition timing first thing tomorrow.

you said cylinder head...did ya mean valve cover?
I've been slowly replacing screws on covers all over my motor with no problem

I'm with the last guy as the cylinder head is held down with nuts and studs that rarely want to come out of the crankcase and when they du frequently bring the threads with them

Ya...I meant valve cover. I am reading too much crap while typing and figuring out what in the #@! is my next step. Thanks for setting me straight.
