400 head-bolt torque specs?
« on: April 17, 2006, 03:11:11 PM »
Found I have a couple of loose ones. The manual I have says 15 ft lb +/-.  Seems a little anemic to me- is that right?
Dude- your 8 layers are showing!

Thanks Malcolm.
Are you a fellow GB500 person, or does GB stand for something else?

Hi Ernie, Malcolm is right at 14.5 lbs-ft for the 8mm bolts and for any 6mm bolts it is 5 - 8 lbs-ft. best wishes, John.
