Stripping donor motors
« on: May 10, 2011, 08:13:17 am »
I'm just about to embark on stripping-down the donor motor(s) for our HiPo engine!

I've not yet got hold of a Haynes (or other) manual and not having stripped-down a SOHC 750 before, I'm trying to pre-empt what special tools may be required or difficult procedures there may be along the way?

All tips & advice appreciated.

It's all pretty straightforward to be honest - you don't need fancy tools, maybe a rotor puller and a stud extractor socket if you are removing the studs, otherwise you can do it all with a good standard tool set...go for it. The best thing about Honda classic motors is they are so intuitive!

Loud pipes suck.......

If you buy something.........pay for it !
If you sell something .......ship it !
If you say you are going to do something......do it !
If you have a question about something......ask it !
When the seller answers ........let him know whether you still want it or not !
If you receive something .....let the seller know you got it !
If you get something and are happy/un happy with it .....let the giver/seller know !
If you have any kind of issue,shipping/receiving/quality/price/shipping charges etc !
