Quick Mixture Question: If you're at WOT....

... and you close the throttle a bit & the bike jumps, that's lean at WOT, right?

Probably, pull a little choke on while WOT, if it pulls harder your lean.

if it hasnt approached high rpm and you close it suddenly and it feels like a splutter its going rich,if you close it slowly is it ok?

jon - good idea giving it some choke. I'll try it.

dave - this is at high revs and yeah, closing it slowly is OK.

its drawing fuel at these revs then your suddenly cutting off its air before its burned,your a tad rich in the main jet,the engines runs ok otherwise?
