CB750 F2 - wiring harness
« on: May 15, 2011, 03:51:17 AM »
Hi,
I am trying to put the wiring harness on the F2.  I am conneting ont he cables, but there is one green coming out the harness, its in the same bundle as the 4 cables for the coils. I don't know what the do with the green one. Any ideas?
Another question. On the magnetic switch there are 2 bolts: one (red) is going to the battery, the other is for the ground, but I can't find a cable for the connection. Is it connected do the cable coming from the frame or is that one going to the battery?
A lot of connection problems as you cn see?
please some help or some pictures of your installations!
regards,
gp

The green wire goes to frame ground. This ground can be found on the front of the coil mount where it mounts to the frame. On the magnetic switch, the other side goes to the starter not to ground. The frame ground for the battery is connected to the rear engine mount on the battery box side of the bike.  Hope this helps.
