Moving to NYC
« on: May 16, 2011, 07:26:30 AM »
Didn't know where else to put this. In early August I'll be moving from Chicago to NYC for grad school. Not sure where I'll be living just yet, but am having some serious questions about safety of street parking, where to find CHEAP secure parking, or whether to leave my baby that I just dumped a bumch of money into at home and buy something I have no attachment to. I'm sure it all depends on where I'm living, but given my budget who knows. Thanks for all/any help.

Depends where you're going to live, where you'll go to school and whether you have a budget for a garage/workspace. NYC can be a pretty harsh place for riding, parking and wrenching, but all the adversity can be overcome.
