Lloyd....those guys are on the other side of the fence (Peninsula).....they would rather have you come over to their playground!!! I have ridden in almost all the places you mentioned(used to live in Fremont/San Jose). I don't think you will coax many of them over to Mt. Hamilton when they are closer to Alice's,Skyline,etc...............just sayin'!!!!
Yeah. Still thought I would offer, though. I've done the Skyline route many times. I just thought there might be interest in doing something different.
Driving in the city with the red light runners and angry cage drivers, might be fun if I was allowed to pack heat.
Just seems too high a risk for my old bones and blood thinned internals. Still, if you ride motorcycles because you laugh openly at the grim reaper, city driving is a high thrill!
jk
Perhaps some others could post what their ideal ride would entail? It doesn't have to be anything I suggested. But, so far there seems little interest.
That's ok too. I'll just ride with Greggo, if that's how it works out.
How about this?
If you are interested in a ride of some kind. Simply state that, and where you are. Maybe relate the distance/time you have in mind.
For me its: yes, Milpitas, 100-300 miles, or 5-7 hours, the later with stops included, and I'd like to avoid freeways (apart from short connector runs), certainly tolls, and am not interested in street racing. (But, I don't think I'm a real slow rider, either.)
Maybe we can ballpark/ generalize enough to get something organized? If not with me, then with others of like intent.
OK guys, is it all we can do to just talk about motorcycles?
Cheers,
