question about 82 cb650sc and 83 cb650sc

the 82 cb650sc has a 627cc sohc engine. the 83 cb650sc has a 655cc dohc engine. will the 83 engine bolt up to my 82 frame. or can i just put the 83 top end on my 82 bottom end.

   The swap that you are describing is not possible between those two models:
it was a radical change between the two model years.
