Topic: Longer alternative swingarm for a 750K2?

A while back I think I read that the later cb750s have longer swingarms by a couple of inches and they bolt right up to the older frames, is this true? Also, are the shock mounts further back? Would the geometry change much with the stock shocks? I assume they'd be a little lower.

Is there any other swingarm worth looking into?

I measured the swingarm on a K7 parts bike. The distance from the center of the pivot bolt to the rear of the arm, where the adjuster butts up, is 20". The distance from the pivot center to the center of the lower shock bolt is 16 3/4", measured on the right side of the frame.

My new seat doesn't have as much clearence for the rear 18" wheel so I thought if the swingarm was a bit longer there would be more clearence.
