Front fork spring height, too long?

Do these look an inch too long? It's a job getting that cap nut on!

Is the bike up on the centerstand with all the weight off the front wheel ? Is so they do look a little long.

Yeah front wheel is in the air. Iit the caps to tighten, guess I'll just see how it rides...
