I decided to type this as one post instead of multiple ones to keep the main page cleaner, sorry if this isnt protocol, feel free to let me know if it isnt.

Question 1:  I am about to order a gasket and seal kit but want to hear anyone's opinion of the best kit to get...I have done some searching here but there seems to be some discrepancy.

Question 1 leads into question 2: Is it possible to replace the seal behind the drive chain sprocket around the shaft without tearing the motor down and removing the shaft? same goes for the shift lever shaft seal?  I seem to recall someone saying you can (using a screw and pulling on it) ... I have replaced rear wheel bearing seals on solid axle rear ends but always remove the shaft in doing so...

Question 3:  I have some clutch noise (rattle when leaning the bike to the right until fully warmed up) After removing the clutch cover i noticed the basket has about 1/16" of play in and out, do I need new springs, or maybe clutch discs and springs?  My clutch doesnt slip yet, but I would like to replace parts before it does.

I will try and take number three. I just re-did mt clutch and the book said that if there was more than .1mm play then install a shim between the snap ring and the assembly. Shims come in .1,.3 and .5mm.  I would check to see if the friction plates were worn before trying to hunt down the shims. If you have a way of measuring, the friction plates should be no less than 3. mm. My guess is that if your replaced the friction plates the play would go away.

I am pretty certain that the seal can be replaced without tearing the engine down. Hopefully, someone can report.

BTW, did you order the oil pressure switch?

I have a parts list sitting and waiting to pull the trigger on from HDLParts.com I ended up finding the Oil Pressure switch there, the correct page alluded me at first.  So far I have the switch, both seals, and the seal for the kickstart through the clutch housing.  I dont want to order all the seals unless I can do the job without separating the motor cases.

I am a fan of rebuilding necessary wear components... I would consider clutch components wear items.  Normally I dont care about spending a few bucks if the outcome is better.

Still looking for ANY advice on the rattle noise my bike makes when leaning it to the right. 

It does it from a cold start until its been running about 2 minutes.  If the bike is straight up there is NO noise.  If I lean it to the right it makes a rotational rattle that sounds like something hitting a bell very rapidly.  Obviously something in the clutch area is hitting something when cold, I couldn't find any scaring marks when I had the clutch cover off.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
