Sounds like you got something else going on Delta. Have you checked the flaot levels while on the bike?

Nothing wrong with the float levels. There's a good reason for this: no one ever tampered with them.

you might be able to use a smaller slow jet delta,euro models were different in a few ways,i can screw in the hole type and it dosent go stinking rich.

I guess I would confirm the needle position by doing some plug chops, my bike was lean at 50-60 mph , the plugs were white, and raising the needles one notch cleared that up.

LOL BINGO! I sould've only moved the needles one position instead of 2. Now my plugs are white instead of black. I should've figured just cleaning the needles would make some difference. Oh well they will go back down one position when I get the chance. But boy the bike sure runs good, never better.
