1976 CB 750A carb builder needed
« on: July 13, 2011, 06:59:30 PM »
They are dipped, scrubbed, emulsion tubes poked and cleaned, new Orings throughout, float nheights set etc etc etc.   Now the bad.. I took then down and did all the cleaning and work and i didnt take pics of where all the springs and stuff go back to.   So, what i need is just someone that has the experience to reassemble them and get them back to me.. You dont need to set needles or anything..just reassemble them for me.  If youre interested in making a few bucks and can do this, then send me an email at    chahnwelds@gmail.com.

Chuck, go to the carb section of the site, there is a wealth of information there about Carbs.
There is also a downloadable repair section on this site too, just use the search function and it should pop up. Good Luck

Cant someone thats done them just assemble them for me??   I really am at my whits ends with them.. I would rather pay someone to do them and send them the money to return them..  Once they are done then i can try and ride it again.  I forget who responded on another thread. I sent them another message and i havent heard back.

Carbs can be daunting but after having to go through mine after paying someone else to do it I can say it's better to screw it up yourself than pay someone else to.

Killeen ( Fort Hood ) Texas area.   I can send them out UPS if someone is sure they can reassemble them.  My money is good too..can send a money order along with the carbs so your paid as well.

Did you ever find someone to help you?  I rebuilt mine last year.  I did take some "before" pictures to help me out.  I can forward those pics to you, if you are interested . . . . .
