350f carb rack
« on: July 13, 2011, 08:46:04 PM »
I am reassembling my 350f carb rack and can't figure out where the spring is suppose to attach between the 2-3 carbs.  Is there suppose to be a post/bar between the carbs?  If so I think I lost mine is the past week or two in the garage somewhere.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks

NK,

Yes there is a little metal pellet with a grove through it that the spring connects to. It slots into a hole behind the T shaped fuel junction. You can see the shape of the part on this CMSNL diagram. It's right below the spring that is labelled 100.

I doubt you can buy the part anyway as it doesn't have a part number. However someone with a bunch of carbs parted out may have it. Alternatively you can just use a small piece of metal rod cut to fit.

Rick.

Thanks for the info.  I couldn't find the piece that you speak of.  I did use a small piece of metal in its place.
