Must confess I hadn't taken a lot of notice about this, so have been getting my head around it, but am happy to be involved in some way.
Good on ya Mick for picking up the job of coordinating it.

Thanks Frosty
I was wondering if we'd hear from anyone in the Apple Isle.
Godzilla will think that he's been extradited back to NZ if he gets down to Tassie.  :o
It is a magic place down there.

Wouldn't it be great to do a handover at Philip Island & give GZ a lap around the circuit?  8)

I'll be there for motogp in Oct and in Jan for Island Classic.
Also thinking of going to Tas for Hist Bikes in Nov.
If either of those 2 things work in with this relay thing then I may be able to help.

That would be great Pete if it worked out.
I was also wondering what the chances of getting GZ a ride in an FA18 Hornet jet fighter when he gets to Katherine near Tindal RAAF Base there.  8)
I don't like the chances but you just never know sometimes.

I just want to apologise to any Aussies who may feel spammed by personal messages about the Relay event.
I've now sent over 60 pm's out & no doubt I may have doubled up on what Mick (RR) has already done.
Anyway, it's all in a good cause, right?
By the way, I'm forwarding answers to my messages to mick7504 so any responses can come from our fearless leader.  Don't think I'm ignoring you okay?
Keep up the good work Mick,  ;)

I wonder if we could somehow use it for good. You know, like raise money for prostate cancer or something?
But that might be hard to orgainise, I don't really know how that sort of thing works.

You've done a great job mate, all with good intention and that has to be commended, which I do, and I'm sure that I can say that on behalf of everyone.

You've freely volunteered your time to help get this show on the road.
Be proud of your efforts mate as we all are, and this goes out to Mick (RR) as well and to anybody else that's had an input here.

It's all about teamwork and sometimes paths unintentionally get crossed.
That's just how it is.

Good to hear from you mate.

At the moment we don't know when GZ will be arriving, but we've certainly got plenty of time on our hands at present.
From what I understand, he's still cruising around Canada/Nth America and then heads off to the guys in NZ.

After that he gets here and then we can do the Oz part of the journey with him.

I think that if we all get together what we can now, it'll just be a matter of letting it all happen when the time arrives.
Sounds easy and it should be.

The guys in each state can put their own plans together with what they want to do and whatever fits into their own schedules.

There's no hard and fast rules, we've just got to join the "dots" together and do it however we can.

We are lining up for the Nat's in Tas. come November and PI in January if you have GZ on board Pete we would be happy to give him a taste of  Aussie Historic Road Racing.
Either way we do most major historic meetings so drop in and say G'day.

Cheers,
Brian

I heard a whisper that maybe later in the year we could possibly be getting a visit from Godzilla and Jerry.
I mean Godzilla.
Did I say Jerry??
What the hell was I thinking about - Silly me.
Either way, I have it on good authority that the women and particularly the beer will need to be kept under lock and key with 24 hour surveillance.  ;)

We have another participant for the Oz leg now.

Mutters (Jeff)

Welcome aboard mate.

The clock is ticking down now and we could be seeing GZ towards the end of October or in November sometime.

Hey Aussie cousins, you may have to rethink your schedule as I estimate NZ won't see GZ until around mid October.
With 5 legs to get him through NZ he could take 3-4 weeks depending on rider availability so you are looking more like mid to late November. :)
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

That's no problems Hush.

Whenever you guys have finished with him mate and then we'll do the Oz leg after you've shown the lizard some good 'ol Kiwi hospitalty.

There's no crucial deadlines to be met and as long as things keep tickin' over steadily it will all be good.
