Dont be affraid to tinker with performance, If it doesn't work just put it back the way it was before you started...

...The guy on the Softtail said the first thing he does is go to a Harley dealer and find out why his bike just got smoked for 4000 miles by a 30 year old Honda.  I told him it's because Honda makes a better bike.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Personally, I agree with twotired about the airbox, but I have pods on my bike. Personal choice (and desire to fiddle with the settings).

i have the same issue as you. 4 into 1 exaust, bike sounds like it bogs like yours. Take your air filter out and run it and watch how much difference that makes, youll have a whole new bike. Temp fix is to buy a K&N foam air filter to replace the paper filter, lean out your mixture by turning each screw on your carb counterclock wise 1/2 turn. Both of these things will lean out your mix by allowing more air.Your bike will run better, but still not like it does without the air filter. Perm fix will be to take the carbs off and adjust the needle position on your carbs, or something like that. If that doesnt work, then rejet.
Gold sparkle is the place you outta be.

My bike came with some vintage v-stacks, and have been running them ever since.
Does this make me a rebel , or just a confused CB owner ?
