This is kind of weird but, I have a descent stock tank on my 1976 cb550, and my girlfriend has a 1979 kawasaki kz650, and she just recently got a nice new glossy tank for her bike with no dents that she found some guy on the side of the road selling. She was going to re-sell it but I was wondering if I could somehow make this fit on my bike and just slap some Honda logos on the side of it. I actually took my tank off and put this one on and it was just slightly wider in the front, but the rear mount is different. Instead of the tank mounting under the rubber, on the Kawasaki, the tank mounts THROUGH the rubber in a vagina like slot (LOL). Just wondering if anybody has ever considered this and got it to successfully work. Give me some feedback. Sorry for the potty mouth.
