Source(s) for aluminum carb sync washers?
« on: August 06, 2011, 10:07:05 PM »
Okay, I've checked McMaster-Carr and Fastenal, but no one seems to make aluminum washers to seal the sync screws on CB750 carbs. Close, but no cigar.

Looks to me like they're a 5mm ID x 8mm OD x .5mm thick. Honda only lists them in the gasket kit and I need a quantity of just the washers.

Anybody? Thanks in advance! RR

If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,

Posting this update for anyone else looking for these parts... The washers you directed me to in your PM are exactly the ones I need for my sync plug screws. I've gotten the ones from Sirius and it looks like they'll work just fine.

Guess I wasn't clear, though, because I'm not looking for washers for the air bleed screws that have springs. The sync plug port plugs have no springs or o-rings, but I want to have the washers because the ports are a direct vacuum source, and they IMHO all require these washers to seal.

Thanks again to all. RR
