Carb leaf springs (main jet holders)
« on: August 04, 2011, 06:51:59 PM »
Hey folks!  I bought an ebay rack of carbs and have them almost perfect now but I need the leaf springs that hold the main jets in.  These are 400 carbs but I think they're the same as the 350/500/550.  The part number is 16061-323-004 but they're discontinued.  Does anybody have a junk set of carbs they wouldn't mind pulling them off of?

I made one that I needed out of a piece of a hacksaw.  The design must be on here somewhere if you search.  I looked high and low, and eventually just made it.

350 and 400 are pretty much the same exept for pilot jets. 500/550 are not the same, but the leaf springs might be.

Check bikebandit.com and or David Silver Spares for your part numbers, they might have it.
