Rear axle adjuster question
« on: August 05, 2011, 08:01:06 PM »
So I'm working on a build around a rigid frame that was clearly meant for a 69-76 CB750 using parts from a 78F.  My axle adjusters are too narrow for the frame.  Can anyone tell me if the rear adjusters on the 69-76 bikes are wider than the 77-78 bikes?

Yep, they are, about twice as wide. And they butt into a removable piece that fits into a fork-shaped swingarm. 550F is similar.
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.
