750 forks

I have a set of 750 forks.  They have black lowers so I am assuming they are from an F.  Am I right?  If so, were Comstars used with them?.  Can I use them with spokes?  Were the disks mounted on the rear?

black lowers and calipers to rear of fork sound like f2  ;) mick.
