CB 750 sighting
« on: September 01, 2011, 02:42:55 PM »
I know this is a long shot, hope your a member here or visit this sight at times. You see so few on the road when you see a SOHC/4 it catches your attention quick. Mid afternoon today 2:00 to 3:00 maybe I was headed home on 85 north in Greensboro,NC near the South Elm Eugene street exit at Walmart and Crackle Barrell. I glanced over in the South bound lane and saw a 73,74, or maybe 75 CB750 getting it down the hwy and looked to be a mild cafe design. Would like to know who that was and if you live near by so maybe we could do some riding sometime. I have a 1970 750KO and a 1976 750K6.

It is beginning to stink in here.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I've only seen two.  An SOHC K model and a DOHC Super Sport.  I tried to chase the single cam down and compliment it but he wouldn't pull over.....

I see one in my town  Mooresville,NC everyday a rather nice Sunburst Orange example for say 74 or so - clean stock and he is always to far ahead to catch or going the other way but one day I will catch him, he has to live local as he is on the same streets everytime.   So on Mooresville,NC I know there are at least two cb750's!

by the way -greatings fellow North Carolinian CB750  rider! are you going to the Bull City Rumble in Durham?

I saw an awesome 750k on the highway the other day w/ full bags and a cool fairing. He was loaded up w/ stuff definitely touring.  And a 550 in southern maine at the triumph dealership that was original and MINT. Best part was the owner was a very attractive young lady  ;D she was really cool too (obviously).  But I've also talked to a bunch of other sohc owners that have checked out my bike and for some reason none of them want to get them going again... LAME - SELL IT TO MEEEE!
