New ride! Hardtail CB750
« on: January 18, 2011, 07:18:00 PM »
Finally I own a running bike! A 75 CB750 bobber to complement my non-running 78 CB750k project. Just loaded it up and brought it home tonight. Too bad it's January in Minnesota...

Is that some sort of cylinder head with a spark plug being used for an oil tank?

I love it when people use found items to replace missing parts..

Neat bike, cool sound . . . but lose the taillight imho.
This project started in confusion and will end in disarray.

Yeah, the 59 Caddy taillight is kinda cool, but I plan on replacing it, not sure with what yet.

I'm not sure what the oil tank is made out of, but those are spark plugs threaded into each side of it.

Just mocked up here, but I've finally made some progress on this. I'm supposed to take this on a 450 mile round trip in 6 days.
