First cafe build CB350 twin (pics update)
« on: July 13, 2011, 02:25:39 PM »
My brother picked up a barn fresh 71 CB350 twin about 2 years ago and it's been sitting in his shop since. now that i have a garage to tinker in i decided to haul it over to my place. I've been wanting to start a cafe build for a while so that's what I'm doing with this bike. i don't plan on doing any irreversible modifications since i like the idea of possibly restoring it in the future. there's a hadfull of cafe racers in town but none seem to really fit the bill. hoping this build will. here's what I've done in the past few weeks, not much but its progress. ideas and suggestions welcome

- dunstall replica exhuast
- clubman bars
- pod filters
- cafe seat foam and cover
- strip down of unnecessary parts
- chrome H4 halogen headlight
- cafe fork ears
- bullet signals
- carb rebuild and rejet

Try the XS first....everyone I talk to about them say they vibrate like a SOB. This is race conditions mind you...

+1 on clean! Nice looking 350.
