I had an AMAZING one last night. Wow.
I just replaced my front end with a complete 78F front end from a fellow member. I hurriedly put the forks on the frame a couple weeks ago and bolted up the brakes and threw the wheel on as soon as I got my tire mounted.
Over the last several days I've been having an unbelievably difficult time bleeding the brakes. After a lot of online research and realizing that the general consensus was that these brakes are just a royal pain to bleed, I figured I'd just keep at it and eventually it would happen.
Last night I head down, untie my brake lever from my handlebar and start to give the lever some short pumps. This time it actually feels like it's starting to build some pressure and I am feeling pretty damn good. Then all of a sudden I hear "POP!" followed by a sound of liquid spilling onto the floor.
There is now a pool of brake fluid below my left caliper and immediately I start thinking, "What the hell!?!? The rotor is mounted, the caliper is mounted correctly, how on earth could the piston pop out of the caliper?

??"
Unless.............(you've probably all guessed it by now).
I FORGOT TO PUT THE BRAKE PADS ON!!!!!!

Now I feel equally foolish, and hopeful.
