clean the bowls and fuel tank if necessary, then clean the slow jets WELL. that will likely fix the problem.

I was looking over my post and realized I put the wrong name of the bike on it. I changed it. Her name is Beatris not Esmeralda. That was dirty pirate hooker bike. Anyway, I got the donor engine bike running better. I'm calling it "Dragula" because the rear fender drags and it looks like a Rob Zombie type bike. I'm uploading some video of it running after I cleaned the bowls. It's taking forever to upload the videos. I hope they work because I've never uploaded video.

Here's the videos!

I put two different angles to you can get the full affect of the sound. When you're watching the first you will see that the exhaust blows out the front. That's because whoever built this bike used copper pipe for the pipes and left a big gap in the right side. (pic below)

Also, here's what the carb bowls look like. (the pic with two has a before and after)

Well, directly behind my house is a Harley shop, so I'd say that I've just been "competing" with them all day. So far no cut off shorts or belly shirts have come to check it out, but I'll let you know if I call any in, Andy.

Yes clips instead of screws.
It was much better and simpler back then. Never heard of one coming off either.
If one did come off it was probably because it was not secured properly.

Well, I did ride Dragula today. Took it on about a 3 mile round trip to get gas. It died a couple of times on the way back. Still have a little bit of a gas starvation issue. I'll totally clean the carbs soon. Maybe tomorrow. I think once I pull the carbs I'll be getting ready to swap engines. I got it to idle at a little over 1k nicely, but I'll still be cleaning the carbs completely. I almost flew off of it when I hit a bump because of the stupid struts that are on it. I'm glad I told the wife that she couldn't ride with me on the shake down run because she may have gotten thrown off, or we would have wrecked. I can't believe what some people build. Not that I'm an expert, but I make sure it's safe. Oh well, time to drink more beer (and not ride because I'm already a bit on the drunk side). Cheers!

I can attest the high build quality of Radam's recent acquisition. Neon green flames are so 2012 and safety is so 2010.

Fuzzie, there is a good chance it had something to do with the previous rebuild, but I don't know the guy who built my bike.

If there is any way to lighten up your bike to the point that you can set the frame onto the engine it is a ton easier and less likely to sctratch the frame or even worse, smash your fingers.
