Fuel gauge/gas cap
« on: November 24, 2011, 08:09:13 AM »
Anybody ever seen or tried these?  Was wondering how it works, just floats in one side of the tank?

I've never used one, but from what I've heard on this forum they're not very accurate.  Even if they were dead on, $100 seems like a lot of money for something that is made redundant by the use of the trip meter and/or reserve setting on the petcock.

For $100 I can pop the lid or set the odometer.

Thanks, gents, point taken.  Have you heard of any feedback on the reproduction rear shocks that Z1 Enterprises lists too?  Are they just cheapo crap?
