#$%* I would be better off shipping it. I drove over 6 hours for my first 550 one way. ended up to be over 660 miles and one night in a hotel to get her to her new home.

You guys are forgetting the the new interest in Cafes. The CB750 is desireable to Cafe. That pushes the price up.
That is why you see so many young people joining here.

So after reading this, I guess i'm going to hold onto the '78 CB750K that I bought for $790 last year in Ct.
New battery, seat and short shocks(so I can touch the ground..lol). Hope to ride it in the spring..How many months till then?? brrrrrr.

AHH rusty, I see your from YAKISTAN!!! Thats what we called it when we had to do our training there in the Army. Hated that place. Never been to the city part though.

2001-2005 I was stationed in Ft. Lewis and frequented yakistan often.

Rusty ever see a guy around there with a fairly stock 57 Panhead  ?
 Met him and his wife on the way to Sturgis years back, and stopped to visit them on the way back.. nice folks, Jim & Ricki.. great old original bike with very little done to the engine when I saw it in the late eighties..

Still got the STREAMLINER train downtown ?? Coolest painted Pepsi sign on a brick building downtown, and that neon bicycle sign is too die for..
The hunter that swivels and shoots the gun neon sign is pretty cool as well.... jeez, I better ride back down there soon..

I have to say I havent met them. This years my first year rideing a big bike on the road. Met a few people rideing my moped( don't laugh) around last fall. Guy on a yellow old( not able to glance and know the models yet) harley waved when he passed me, Noticed most people on factory" choppers' are an unfreindly lot ( not sure why?)

I belive the streamliner's still there along , I havent had the luxury of going for drives all the time i've had my DL. 9mpg is kinda a killer.

Ya, downtown Yakima has some cool stuff.
 You ever ride though the hop warehouse row during the fall? Allways used to go though there when I was little. I love the smell of hops in the morning.

If your comeing down this way next year, send me a message, wouldent mind meeting another old bike nut. I'm hopeing to have the CB650 road ready and get my endorcement ASAP once they start the Rideing classes up again in the spring.

Model T is to ratroders..like CB 160 is to Vintage racers..
 A created demand, that will drive pricing up..

 I think a lot of the Ts may not have 10K into them but WOULD HAVE at todays prices..if you did one up today..
 Like cafe or chopper guys cutting up a K0 ..or K1, so it goes with the rodders.....

I have an unrestored Model A(1930)-that I bought in '62 for $150.00--not worth that much today,
but I drive it weekly-enjoy it too--Nobody wants these "A's" either---just bury me in it please! It's O.K.
